O-K I can't find a way to get both the Gem Box AND the Economizer (without using Relm's glitch where I can get a couple hundred of each). I know that there is a way to do it because I've seen a non-glitched file that had both. I know you can win an Economizer in the Colloseum but only if you bet your Gem Box.
. . . . . . . So how do I do it? |

You can also steal economizer's from a monster in the Phoenix Cave... I think... the monster's name is Aquila?

Uhh... this site has information on it, ya know. So unless R51 is just perpetuating bad information, then yes, the aquila has economizers, though they are the rare steal.

O-K....Stupid me. I forgot that I could just check the info page
 . Oh well, thanks for the info anyway. Also you're right. I checked the FF6 info page and you can get an Economizer from either of the monsters that were mentioned in the ways you mentioned.Sorry   (Neal and Rubes, please don't ban me. It was an accident.) |

Don't worry about it, Spoony. That was an accident.
Anyway, stealing the economizer from an Aquila really isn't much easier than winning them from Brachosaurs. It happens about as often, since Aquilas aren't all that common in the Phoenix Cave. If you bet a Strato in the Collosseum, you meet an Aquila. You can repeat the cycle by betting the Pearl Lance you gain, or by betting Auras stolen from Retainers.

Aquila, if memory serves me correctly, are very, very hard to find in the Phoenix Cave. (Seemingly impossible, if you went in solely with the purpose of finding one.)
Personally, I think the method of finding Economizers through fighting Brachiosaurs is much more productive, since fighting in the Dinosaur Forest over and over again will conjointly level up your characters to insane proportions as you hunt for the vaunted Relic. -------------------- "I always have a quotation for everything - it saves original thinking." ~Dorothy L. Well, lucky me. I finally got around to getting the gem box today, and was just wondering how I go about aquiring the economizer when I clicked on this thread.
