Thus here an imaginary scene inspired by the beginning of the incredible Aqat’s fanfiction, Jusqu'à ce que la mort nous sépare (Until death separates us). Cloud spared Sephiroth after the Ultimate Battle. Those of the members of Avalanche subjected to the natural laws disappear, little by little. The two former enemies, impervious to the ravages of time thanks to their falsified genetics, withdraw themselves in the Shinra manor to live their love.
« Breath » ? One trembles to imagine what action could be wild enough to make out of breath our two super-champs… Attached Image  |

Very nice work. Not really my thing, admittedly, but you have a lot of talent. The lines are crisp and smooth, although the bodies (especially Sephy's upper body; those pecs are bigger than his head!) seem a little disproportionate.
It's a beautiful pic, but I'll have to jump on the "scary" bandwagon. Quality art but, um... wouldn't it have turned out better if there were some kind of clothing on them (especially below their waists), just so I can have an easier time looking around the picture for anything I want to comment or point out about other than the fact that both are nude, IN BED, and it's really, really disturbing? Not trying to sound negative, I think your art is good, just this one scares the crap out of me. I only opened it and saw it for a few seconds, because I have not, and would not ever want to stare at other nude men. I mean, it's your drawing and I'm just giving my opinion about it. |

Usually Yaoi is a little weird when ive seen it, but this is actually a really well drawn picture and pretty cool!

Okay, the description you've given to the picture is...sensless to me.
While I understand the reasoning behind a lot of yaoi pairings that are not evidenced in the original product, I still loathe the idea of adding any relationship/sex material that isn't even HINTED at. And the reasoning behind Cloud/Seph fails my logic anyway. There's no background to them that could motivate it, it's completely against their characters and due to what became of Seph I dare say it'd be damn near tentacle porn. That being said, the drawing is technically superb. The way you designed the lighting in the room and how it came out - the contrast between light and shadow - is my favourite part of the picture. -------------------- "I fell off the mountain of words at around the 10,000ft mark. Well, it's pretty sexy. I like me some muscular Cloud, I do. But the Cloud/Sephiroth pairing is just so silly and non-canonical, which could be said of a lot of fan pairings, I know.

Personally (SP?) I dont mind yaoi, and I know someone on World of Warcraft that loves yaoi.
Anyways.. I like the shading with the moonlight as well, and it sort of does look like it took place in the ShinRa mansion, but I do agree with L.Cully that Cloud and Sephiroth as a pair doesn't really match, but then again I didn't read the fanfic. Edit Err overall I do like it, and it is something different for CoN but im interested to see what the mods say. I always can appreciate a good piece of art when I see it, though I dare not look at this thing up close. I do think its really good though. As for what its about, I'd say its just one of those moments that you wake up from the day after and decide NOT to tell anyone about. I'd of believed it more if you said this happened 5 years before final fantasy VII when they were on that mission. Sephiroth was feeling down and decided to drink a kegger. Cloud worshipped Sephiroth back then and thus could not pass up the opportunity to take advantage of him. Still, no matter how it happened, that picture is just wrong to me.

I mean, you are what you eat in that the minerals and energy from your food essentially become part of your body once they're digested. But, like... I used to draw flipbooks of stick figures crashing into walls and exploding and that kind of thing.
