Back in 2018, Rangers51 & Death_Penalty walked us all through Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions by streaming the former's gameplay. I'm quite sad to have missed it (because I was finishing up my first year in a phd program, so I can relate to DP's experiences, and also because I was doing so while suffering from a mysterious illness that would take a further year+ to diagnose as a chronic illness and blah, blah, blah), but I've been enjoying the replays.

And that has me wondering if there's any plan to play through other Final Fantasy games? For instance, it sounds like Rangers51 had not played through Final Fantasy XII at the time (& DP had, if I recall); any plans to reverse the dynamic on who knows what?

Streaming a four job fiesta run might be a cool idea.

I really enjoy streaming, but it's hard for me to dedicate time to these days during times where people might actually tune in (and our viewership does tend to look a lot like what these forums look like these days, to be fair!).

I would very much like to stream a Fiesta run, though I don't do them myself so it probably wouldn't be much fun to watch me suck at one. I would also like to some streams of some good Squenix games that not enough people have seen, like a continuation of the Parasite Eve one that I started with Tiddles years ago but we couldn't keep going.

I've also considered strongly doing a custom seed on Free Enterprise that watchers could also play at the same time, and things like the PSP versions of FF1 and FF4, which are both excellent but not nearly enough folks have gotten to experience.

For me, a lot of these things come down to the same thing - if it seems like people will actually watch and participate with me rather than me just playing games to a void (or asking someone else to do it), I will definitely try to find the time!

And Kane, I'm really glad to hear that things are looking up for you now!

I don't think I have any way of streaming FFV right now, otherwise I'd volunteer to do a Fiesta run. I enjoy streaming, and playing the Fiesta for viewers would probably make the game fun for me again. Otherwise I'm not doing the Fiesta this year, as I burned out from it.

This would be SO COOL!

I'd try to tune in if you took up streaming again. I didn't watch when you were doing FFT because I have a rule of only watching games that I have played myself as I hate spoilers and hope to play FFT someday. I just followed CoN on Twitch so I can get notifications if you go live. flag-red.gif

Makes perfect sense to me. Now all I have to do is solve the dwindling engagement problem of the last decade+. Here's hoping people wake up to the brilliance of CoN.

(I wouldn't say that things are looking up for me, but knowing what I'm saddled with the for the rest of my life sure makes a heck of a difference. Regardless, thank you for the well-wishing.)
