Problems with Wrexsoul

Okay I'm having trouble with the Wrexsoul fight...I'm able to make him appear once by casting death on one of my party members, but once he goes away a second time I can't get him to reappear again. I've tried using Raise and Phoenix Down combined with Death but it's just not working at all. The Soul Savers have all run out of MP too...

I thought he possesses a random but specific party member; maybe try killing each of them off in turn?

I thought you could just cast X-Zone on them or Death. It's actually been a while since I actually played the game through.

Sometimes I need to kill cast Life 3 on someone and then kill everyone, Reraised person last.

I'm always so pissed off at Wrexsoul that I make it hard for him. Casting him into the XZone is too good for him. I'll knock out my party members, just guess at which one until I get it
Also, I steal back Relm's mother's Ring from him, every time, no matter how long it takes. Bastard. -------------------- X is blue. |

The two Soul Savers will be defeated and the battle will end even though Wrexsoul is still alive, although you won't get the Guard Bracelet that Wrexsoul drops if you win the battle this way.
