I saw someone play the demo of ff15 on YouTube.Its in real time and you can run around slashing enemies.It looks like changing weapons changes the kind of damage you do, such as the difference between using a halberd and a sword.It might have multiplayer, since I saw a bunch of guys following one guy around and attacking one enemy.You can use vehicles to get around too.

I haven't paid attention to Episode Duscae 2.0, but here's a good thread from someone who played the original.

It currently does not have multiplayer and odds are it won't, IMO. There's a ton of actual information about XV around here in the forums if you look for it.
