There are a variety of bards...are they always spoony bards?

Dave Grohl? Not so spoony. Maybe a bit. Listen to "Big Me."

Lemmy Kilminster? No, not spoony at all.

The Plain White Tees? Very spoony.

The band called Spoon? I'm going to hazard a guess here...

I am quite spoony, myself, so I wonder, do you consider all bards to be a certain degree of spoony, or are there some that are immune to the spoon?

Discuss. A bard is any musician, spoony or otherwise.

Yes, I think so. There are very few spoon exceptions in the Bard occupation. Freddie Mercury was a wonderful Bard. Even Bono is rather spoony. Mick Jagger is very spoony.

30 Helens agree:

Bards are Spoony.

Well, Spooniest, I also believe that Noah Antwiler is quite Spoony, though not as Spoony as you- though his spoon has developed a little bit of tarnish as of late.

He does an amazing Ultima Retrospective, and his classic game and movie riffing is solid gold.

When I think of Spoony and mo0dern Bards, I'm a fan of the ladies who rock out.

The Deal twins, definitely.

Louise Post, oh, yes.

Liz Phair, Sheryl Crow....you got it.

There's a slough of others.

Though, Spooniest, you might have competition. What about The Tick?

"So, are you a fan of the Fett?"

"Nah, I'm more of a Star Wars guy."

I am familiar with Mr. Antwiler's work. He is not strictly a bard, though, which I am. thumbup.gif

Even so, he is the man who gave us "Motherf----r suplexed a train!!"

I'd be no match for him, because bards suck at fighting, haven't you heard?
