Opinions on what to play?

I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan. I own 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,13,13-2, and Lightning Returns. So the question I have is this. The only ones that I own that I haven't ended are 8 and Lightning Returns. So By show of opinion, which one should I devote my days off to?

Lightning Returns probably has a higher opinion around here than 8.

Look into other RPGs. I haven't heard good things about Lightning Returns, and I'm one of those guys that think VIII isn't one of the better Final Fantasy games.

I thought the worst of the FF13 trilogy was the first game?

There seems to be a lot of polarization around 13, not just in general but within the sub-series. I think most of the CoN folk I've talked to about it consider 13-1 to be the worst of the series overall, but personally LR is actually my least favorite (though I've really enjoyed them all, truth be told).
