Why do you put bring your granparents to tell about your favorite game?

I played this game when it came out and im not a grandfather.

In fact not even close to being old enough to be a granfather.

I'm shocked to hear that, actually.

Also: It's a joke.

I remember playing this game when it came out too, and thinking that it was AWESOME. Looking back now I don't think anybody could ever really enjoy playing it, unless they played it (or games like it) when they were a kid.

Because it's a very old game. I assume people become grandparents by the time they're 35-40, so I guess the minimum age would've played FF1 by the time it first came out in 1987 was at the age of 15-20. But yeah it's a joke, they're not meant to taken as literal as you might find them to be.

Plus, in a few more years, Final Fantasy 3, 4, and 5 will be the next games for grandparents. tongue.gif

Nah.

Alot of people who played ff1 were like me very very young.

some maybe up to 10 or 15 years old meaning 35.

Hardly a grandfather,more like a father.

You know who could be called a grandfather console?

The original console that came out in 1974

Now that is old.

Anybody who played it is definately old enough to be a grandfather literally.

The inventor started the project in the 69 and it became available in 74.

The grandfather joke is awesome. Loved it. It was hilarious happy.gif

Plus it can make you feel like you can play Final Fantasy at any age and when your older there is no stopping you from playing the adventure and beating Garland one more time.

It shows that there is no age limit.

Which is really cool ^-^

Plus seen/ heard alot of stories of Grandparents liking/ playing Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega. So guess it's possible ?? wink.gif

I'm 14 and I enjoy this game plus I don't start my sentences with "When I was young..." or "Back in The Day" or even "Many years Ago when I was Knee High To A Goldfish..." so I can't be a grandparent

I feel like people probably have stopped taking it seriously in the four years that passed before you posted. smile.gif

I played this game at the age of 14 ,not that long ago for me, and am now playing ffVI, I find it hard to go back and play it now.

Haha. Actually, I love this game, and I only started playing it after playing several of the later games. But I am a little strange sometimes.

In the music business I practically am a grandparent

The goo goo dolls have a song called name where a line says 'we grew up way too fast'

Kinda the GenX lament...our parents hit us with the whole catholic mass of hippiedom right away, and we all got freeked out

But in the end, we're the wiser for it, I hope.

Final Fantasy I will always have the place of honor at the table.
