I think he's a terrible president, and I think the people he has in his staff are even worse - every time one of them quits, is fired, or gets indicted, it seems a worse one pops in. | I know there is a LOT going on right now, but is this about the camps for kids and separating kids from parents? Are you going to go to any of the protests? There are no words for how horrible what's going on is. As a Canadian, too, I expected Trudeau to do something, but it looks like he's currently blocked because of the trade war that's going on. |

For example, on your profile page, you have your full date of birth. That's a really bad idea. A person is also able to see every message you have ever written on CoN, so someone could discover a lot about you based on things you said. And probably also trace your IP. I mean this sincerely, everyone should be careful about what they're leaving around online. |

My wife is off fucking God knows who, my girlfriend is a physically abusive rageaholic narcissist who wants me to pay her way into the country and possesses limitless European Denial And Apathy, my mother is dead after living an entire life paycheck-to-paycheck, my nephew is dead after my idiocy and despair failed to clue me in that I probably ought to have lobbied my Dad to let him move back in, my cat is dead from a cancerous growth on his foot that necessitated his euthanasia, and everyone in every fandom I could ever be a part of wants nothing to do with me. I don't know what kind of rosy, rich, ego-boosting life you live. Mine is already over. Fighting for peace and love as my fathers (both Heavenly and earthly) wish for me to is the only dream I have left. So I'll gladly take that bullet to the brain, thank you. |

| Look, man, I've tried to give you a fair bit of leeway around here over the last several months, because it is clear that you've had a lot of pain in your life, especially recently, that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. And honestly, and I'm not trying to say this to be hurtful, but it doesn't seem like you're equipped to deal with your trauma, and I actually quite understand why that might be the case and sympathize. That said, though, we here aren't equipped to deal with your trauma either. We know you only from what you present to us, no different than anyone else, and of the people who still come here regularly, I don't know a single one who is a social worker or any kind of therapist, or any other sort of vocation that might be able to help you. What we can as a community do is sometimes try to offer advice, and it may or may not be helpful. But you have to understand that nobody here is out to get you, they're just responding to what appears to be cries for attention and/or help. At the end of the day, your life is yours to live as you see fit. It's not that simple, of course, and we all know that, but it definitely only includes us in the ways that you choose to. All I can tell you is that lashing out at people you don't really know on an internet forum is almost certainly not going to get you what you're looking for in life, and it's no good for the rest of us either, who haven't signed up for that. I really hope that you find a genuine, healthy peace in your life, but I feel just as strongly that CoN is not capable of providing it for you in the way it seems you might want or need. |
