I know that I have caused a vengeful war here in your community, due to the rude comments of a few Caves of Narshe members in the IRC chat. I know that what I did was wrong, and that I deeply regret the explicit anger in that rant. I know that one of my staff members, Zero_Hawk, has friends here, and I know he was not happy with my mistake. I know we all make mistakes, whether they are serious ones or not. I know.

But we can put all these problems behind us through forgiveness and friendship. It is far from being too late for us to befriend one another, regardless of what we have gotten ourselves into in the past. Once again, I am sorry for the unkind things I have said about Caves of Narshe. If I could have traveled back in time just to prevent all this from going on, I would have. It is so sad when there are rivaling sites exchanging offensive dialogue between each other, which is why I want to start all over, the relationship between MegaGaming and Caves of Narshe.

While "MegaGaming" is not an original name (plus I never said it was original in the first place), most people do not realize that our site's direction focuses strictly on vintage gaming, and we all know that many oldschool video games had bland names. No, this is in no way a valid excuse to save MG from the web trap of criticism of originality, because we do not claim to ever have been original. Many retrogaming sites have come and gone, before us, and will continue to pop up from random corners of the Internet. We did not start this site because we wanted to be the "number one" source for all that is retrogaming; we just do this because we love the nostalgic eras of gaming, and we are obsessed with it.

We do not care how original or unoriginal something is, and it is true that we are quite indecisive with our direction, as we do not have a certain niche to attach ourselves and devote our talents to (though we are still experimenting with ideas that could probably work, or not). That is pure honesty, coming from the site's owner.

To conclude this long-winded apology letter, I hope that MegaGaming and Caves of Narshe can help each other out in the future. We have some very intelligent members, participating in intelligent discussions on here, and we would be more than happy to have them check out MegaGaming, once it is finally established.

I no longer wish to cause trouble between either sites, and neither for every other site (whether it be retrogaming or a FF fan site) in existence.

I accept, and apologize on my end.

As you noticed, CoN fervor can run wild, because we all love this site. I personally would like to see your site get up and running. I can't speak for Ranger, but it'd be cool for both sites to help each other.
