This has nothing to do with FF7 but can anyone tell me where to post a picture on my profile?

If it has nothing to do with FF7, why did you post it in the FF7 forum? I'll move it and give you an answer with only a minor scolding since you're new.
If you want a personal picture in your profile, first that picture has to be on the internet somewhere, meaning you can see it in your browser by using an address that begins with http:// . Then you go to the "My Controls" link near the top of every page, then "Change Personal Photo" on the left navigation of the page that loads. Put in the http:// address in the top box, and click "Update Photo." Are you confusing profile with avatar, Bizarro? The only avatar pics you can use are the ones provided by CoN itself, and the avatar is your forum pic that goes next to each of your posts. Your profile is a picture that is on the upper-right of the screen whenever someone checks your profile.
