Try, perhaps, the Toe Jam & Earl games, or Sega's RPG series Phantasy Star.

Yes! The first one was excellent! Really the only game besides mario 3 that my sister would actually play with me (she hated video games). The levels with the cheese? And not to mention all the whacky characters like the mad scientist who'd inject you with stuff. And the presents were great. The 2nd was SO different though, with the humans and jars and whatnot. Still fun though.

I'll try and think of some later.

And one by one I watched every constellation die
And there I was frozen, standing in my backyard
Face to face, eye to eye, staring at the last star
I should've known, walked all the way home
To find that she wasn't here, I'm still all alone

Yeah, but it's two different games, so uh, GET THE OTHER ONE. THEY BOTH RULE!

Warsong. It's a pretty obscure RPG, so there may not be a ROM for it, but it's one of the only redeeming things about Sega in my opinion. Try to get it if you can.

Well, if we're going to suggest obscure, perhaps unavailable games, download Iron Hammer if you happen to run across it (and tell me where you got it! :)).  From what I hear, it was supposed to be a test game for some unreleased peripheral, but it did make it to the Sega Channel, so I've still got hope that if StarFox 2 has hit the web, maybe Iron Hammer can or has made it too.  It was a good game, they should have released it IMLO.

Golden Axe and Zero Wing are nice Genesis games. I highly recommend them.

Golden Axe. Sort of a fantasy-type game, you can choose between the dwarf, the barbarian, and the amazon, and you run around and hit things with swords and axes. Magic, riding dragons, and some other things is all expected.

Zero Wing. All your base are belong to us is all I have to say.

I recommend a little known game called Ranger X.
You're a robot going around shooting things and, best of all, you have rocket boosters!   :E

If you have a SNES emulater (of course you do...), I suggest any of the Fire Emblem games. Not many people know about them, as they were never released outside of Japan, but if you can find one of them and a good translation, then I highly recommend it.    :nods:
