Game of the Year, hands down. Even MGS4 has no chance in comparison to the inevitable awesome this will be. Hell, time to just stop videogames in general now. Perfection is coming.

(Seriously, Whaaaaaaaaaaat?!) wacko.gif

This looks EXTREMELY WEIRD...if it is truly real and not just some joke, i can only dream SE actually makes this game and some sort of crazy miracle happens and it really is game of the year smile.gif

but really, who would think of an idea like SNOOPY?

Edit
Forgot to ask if the blonde-haired kid is a custom character, or actually someone from the Peanuts universe...i recognize him, but i could just be crazy

Has the world learned anything about making video games off of stuff that already exist (like movie games)? Has anyone realized that they JUST DON'T COME OUT WELL? Especially something that's seems appropriate for kids...this seems like it's going to be the Japanese equivalent of a Hannah Montana video game.

Edit
I watched some of the trailer...I like the graphics. They seem a little different from the comic strip and cartoon. That's the only positive thing I can say.

I'm not expecting this to be anything great, but I will say that I am mildly intrigued, if not only because it strongly brings back fond memories of old Peanuts fun-ducational games I played as a child. Good times, those were.

Believe it or not, Square makes wrestling games too.

Old american cartoons have a popularity in Japan equal to Anime here.

I don't think all licensed games are bad, example being Astro Boy.

I'm gonna buy like... 3 copies of this game. One for me, one for the first stranger I cross, and one to worship as my new god.

/Facetiousness

Interesting concept. And I guess there could be worse games.
I wouldn't buy it, but you'd better believe there's gonna be a following.

...Okay then!

Well, at least it doesn't have a bishie emo protagonist with crazy hair, as is Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw's criticism of JRPGs.

Also, I will be highly entertained if they animate Snoopy with the classic cartoony "image stuttering" style.
