Biography

By appearance, Cait Sith is a cat that rides upon a giant stuffed Moogle that has predilection for predicting fortunes. Cloud and his comrades run into him while searching for Sephiroth at the Gold Saucer. Taking advantage of the situation, Cait Sith offers to read the group its fortune. The cat prints out two predictions that make little sense in regard to the questions that Cloud had posed to it. Cait Sith pleads for one more chance. This fortune is ominous, stating, �What you pursue will be yours. But you will lose something dear." Wanting to see if his cryptic prediction actually proves true, Cait Sith joins the party in their search for Sephiroth.

His character is somewhat mysterious, but Cait Sith is somewhat of a savior to the party. He comes to the rescue multiple times in which the fate of the party seemed sealed in defeat.

Cait Sith�s method of attack should not be a surprise when the place of introduction is taken into consideration. He deals damage with a megaphone. The attack of said microphone is determined by the result of a slot machine similar to which one would expect to find in the Gold Saucer.
