Strategy

Well as if you couldn't tell, Lunar Levy is much like his Earthen counterpart. He'll open up with a pretty strong Tidal Wave and continually use it throughout the battle. Also in his arsenal is a decently damaging OBlizzaga. But the move you have to keep a close eye on is his use of Maelstrom, which will take everyone down to single digit HP. It'll be important to recover from this move very quickly as his next move after using this is usually Tidal Wave. So if you don't recover quickly, you'll find yourself on the Game Over screen. Now is a good time to bust out those Megalixirs you've undoubtedly been stockpiling since being in the Lunar Ruins. If that's not an option, use OCuraja like it's going out of style.

If you can avoid that fate, then this guy should go down. Pound away at him with your heavy hitters. Have Palom (and Rydia if she is also with you) wail away at the serpent with OThundaga as he is extremely weak against lightning. If you're up in level, you'll see it take 9999 a pop. A slew of those as well as some big time hits from Cecil and the heavy hitters and Lunar Leviathan will meet the same fate as regular Leviathan.
