I have been on a fanart frenzy! Just playing around. I like the black-with-colors scheme. It reminds me of pastels on black paper, which was always fun in school. I went back and forth on the arm that didn't have the fireball's position; although it's awkward, anything else ended up looking dainty and more posed. The idea of the picture was that Terra was discovering her own power, alone, without pressure, observing her ability in wonder. Her pose looking too pretty, I think, would have taken away from what I truly wanted portrayed. I'm awful at titles :) RelmArrowney's Profile Tweet |

The color work is pretty powerful, especially considering it's being done from black.

Not bad, the medium makes me think of neon, especially with that black background.

Thanks, guys!
Death_Penalty, I actually got the inspiration for the color scheme from something like that! I originally wanted a more glow-stick kind of effect, how ridiculously bright they look in the dark!

I really like the colors in this, and the concept especially. I like the idea of Terra discovering her power., and how you portrayed it. Being more of a writer than an artist, I saw this picture and immediately got ideas. Keep it up girl, you are a great artist!
