Here's to a wasted decade of my life!
I kid, I kid. It's actually so commonplace for me to be in there that it is actually very very strange if I'm on vacation for a week and don't spend any time in the chat. It's a great group of folks and we've become close over the years. I estimate there are only a handful of people that have been active throughout the entirety of chat (Myself, Josh, Tiddles, ZH), but there are dozens who have been active for years at a time, whether back when we started or now. If you haven't joined us yet, give it a shot. Certainly not my first IRC experience (even if I had joined a decade ago as opposed to almost five years ago), but congrats.
The ops used to be more kick-crazy back in the day, I remember that. |

Heh, I guess it has been that long. Nice to know that I idled a good chunk of my time away in #narshe. The thing I need to do now is to get back in there more of late. I used to be quite the regular and I'm sure everyone misses me XD

Oh goodness. I haven't been in there for a long time... god knows there's some very old logs of me saying some very silly things. Hell, I'm STILL the #7 chatter of all time, according to the history. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but I'll be back!

In hindsight it's strange to think it was almost ten years ago I stepped into CoN chat not knowing what to expect. Weirder still to think I was still in high school at the time, mocking Josh for being 24-25 while I'm even older than that now.

This is absolutely true. I have extremely fond memories from when I was back in highschool and would come home each day, plant myself in front of the computer, then sit til far after my bedtime. It was especially during those 0-6 hours where I recall having the best time. It's strange to think sometimes that the omnipresent threat of a kickban/zinger from R51 or Neal might be one of the biggest reasons I learned social tact and manners (not to mention at least par-level grammar).
