| wellthiswasadisappointment.wav I have to say I was suspicious when I noticed the four Kodak Digital Camera Oxy-Alkaline batteries that I had inside it since like 2004 had no caking on them. Well, I swapped them out for fresh Duracell Coppertop batteries. I turned the switch on. Nothing happened. I tried massaging the battery case, and the batteries themselves. I tried slightly twisting one of the negative electrodes, below which there was some caking from many years back, though with which caking the Game Boy had nevertheless worked before. I even tried gently massaging the case. That didn't work. Unfortunately, the case is held together by three-pointed screws. I'm going to have to figure out how to open this up. That said, I also happened to finally get the lone Google search result describing the particular multicart that I have (which I've had since before I was 10 years old, I think): http://www.chrismcovell.com/Archive/gbmulti1.html. That little multicart had tons of great music on it. I was too young then to figure out how Ishido worked, but I knew good music when I heard it. Other games with great music on that multicart include Tail Gator, Volley Fire, Adventure Island (GB), and Koi Wa Kakehiki. |

| Sorry to hear about your gameboy. Outta curioustiy which one was it? The normal black and white, the gameboy color, or the old bulky one? My gameboy color's been a lil off for a bit as well. The start button is sometimes disfunctional. I'm grateful it still works, but after all these years regardless of how well I've taken care of it, I know all good things must end soon. Hopefully I can get in some more King of Fighters and Dragon warrior monsters before it finally turns off for good. Good luck Glenn |

| Old light-grey bulky one. The one you'd attach a Handy Boy to. Yes, I have that too. Actually, come to think of it, I accessed it sometime between 2005 and today, because that was when I realized that my Pok�mon Blue save had disappeared (presumably because the save battery died). Then again, that might have happened before 2005... ...that makes me wonder, why and when did I put those Kodak batteries into it? I obviously had a reason; otherwise the battery compartment would just have laid empty. |

I'm not sure if this'll be helpful since you might've figured it out already but just in case it can be, I believe the tool you'd need for those is called a tri-wing screwdriver. I'm not sure of the size but it shouldn't be too hard to figure it out knowing that. For the ribbed bolts holding in the gameboy games and S.N.E.S., what you'd likely want is called a game-bit. They're both rather uncommon unless you order them online. Nintendo wanted to make it as hard as possible to open these things up... |
