What do you think is the most scariest moment within the whole Final Fantasy series ?

For me it would have to be Adel's creepy message on the TV in Timber. The fact that's she's been held captive there for seventeen long years and she's not unconsciousness and she can still think and feel is a bit creepy.

Also FFIV's Evil-wall.

When I was younger I got scared half to death of a particular scene in FFVII.

Possible spoilers: highlight to view
Everything was fairly straightforward in the story of Nibelheim. Cloud was a 1st Class Soldier who returned to his hometown. All's well and good until we return in the lifestream with Tifa, foreboding music, and flashes of memory loss that screwed everything up! The particular bit where Tifa said "that's not what happened" and then it cuts back to Sephiroth walking up the screen followed by some completely new person with black hair really freaked me out. I felt really uncomfortable. Also the photo that didn't have Cloud in it was pretty scary.

I wasn't even a teenager then so the thought of things not being what they appeared to be at first was terrifying.

For me, it was the ending FMV of FF7. Seeing that Meteor hadn't been stopped by Holy sent chills down my spine... When the Lifestream came into the picture I was like "Lordy, what is this crazy planet doing now?"

For me, anything to do with XIII. Just sit there thinking: Square what have you done.

But the actual moment that i find scariest is XIIs version of the demon walls.
