Am curious if there is any plans for a marketplace type of section where people could buy/trade/sell to other members of the forums? (Btw, did a search for 90 days and older to see if there is already a request for this and there wasnt so if I missed it, sorry).

I'm not in charge of the website, nor am I even involved in its running other than the occasional thread post, so just take this as an opinion. But I would imagine that, along with the time they'd have to put into setting the service up, there might be some added legal issues brought up if this site begins mediating buying/trading transactions. I would imagine that it would cost money also. After all, who's going to handle shipping/handling? Maybe Amazon and CoN could extend their partnership? I'm not sure how that would work.

But once again, this has no bearing on any decision, just my thoughts.

I don't think it's such a bad idea, necessarily (I've done a few such transactions with CoN members), but is there really a demand? I feel it would be a deserted ghost town of a subforum and probably isn't necessary.

I think you're overthinking it. I am pretty sure lasz has the idea for what the OP was thinking, and I agree with Lasz. I wouldn't be against it, but I don't really see the demand. If you wanted to sell something to CoN members, I think CoN members are smart enough on their own to know who to trust and buy from without the site doing anything else. Nothing stopping you from making a thread about something like that, but I do think that there'd hardly be enough traffic to justify anything more permanent.

Yeah, I was overthinking it (just in an overthinking mood), but my main point underlying my post is the one you made. I guess that people could handle those things on our own.
