Hey folks, I'm a little out of the loop about this, but I just saw the trailer for Kingsglaive and it looked really good. I've heard good and bad but I thought I'd try it.

I was going to start a thread about the same thing and kept forgetting, thanks. I have heard mostly bad things, other than the fact that it's visually incredible, but I haven't actually heard directly from anyone who has seen it yet, so I'd like to hear as well!

Maybe I'm just a sucker, but if not for any reason I'll check it out just for the GoT actors. It is a bit pricey though.

I haven't seen it myself, but the voice acting is one thing I've heard most people agree on (i.e., that it is good). In addition, of course, to the visuals. Opinions seem to be pretty mixed about everything else, though I've seen some reviews that explain other reviewers' dislike as a result of the fact that the film acts more as a prologue of sorts to the game than, well, a proper film in its own right.

So I was watched and liked the movie. The movie takes place before and as chapter 1 of the game begins. I'd recommend getting it though it's not needed for the game but explains a lot
