Just a quick response to one of Lockpick's art challenges.
I thought I'd try colored pencils this time. I noticed some great advantages to using colored pencil, such as ease of blending and doing hair, but also some things that make me want to see if there's anything else out there that might fit me better.
Anyway, yeah, it's all the women from FFVI. Left to right: Madonna, Rachel, Katarin, Daryl, Terra and Relm, Celes, Elayne, and Lola.

I don't remember who Katarin, Elayne, and Lola are. Oh well.
The problem I find with colored pencil is you can't do anything very detailed with them. For example, I'm guessing those red wing-ish things coming off Terra's right are, uh, wings but I'm not certain at all. Its just the general fuzziness that the colored pencil creates. At least I think.

Katarin is of Duane and Katarin, the young lovers in Mobliz. Elayne is Cyan's late wife, and Lola is the woman in Maranda he was sending letters to, posing as her soldier boyfriend.

I agree, Rujuken. When doing pencils for such a small work as this, it's hard to put any details in. Thanks, Neal, for the clarification of who's who, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. And yeah, those are wings. You can see the beak just stiking out at the top out from behind a feather (its head is tilted back, and its wings are encompassing Rachel). I know it's kind of hard to make out, but I think once you do, the picture'll make more sense.
